Rafael Moraes is a Brazilian poker player and PokerStars ambassador. He sits with over $1.8 million in cashes and is in the top 10 of the Brazilian all-time money list.

According to fellow Brazilian and PokerStars Ambassador Andre Akkari, Moraes is one of the best poker players in the world.

Live Poker Achievements

The largest cash of Moraes' career came in 2016, finishing third in the EPT Monte Carlo €25,000 High Roller for €568,200. The following year, he won a WSOP Circuit ring in Sao Paulo for $94,321.

In 2022, he added a BSOP title to his poker resume after winning the BSOP Rio de Janeiro High Roller for $58,096.

Online Poker Achievements

Moraes plays online under the username "GM_VALTER" and has won numerous online titles and has over $6 million in online cashes. In 2016 he won SCOOP-04-H: $2,100 NL Hold'em for $301,625.
