After doubling up the hand previously, Nicklas Dehli, in the cutoff, found himself all in and at risk for his remaining 1,200,000, against Mustafa Simsek in the hijack.
Nicklas Dehli: J♠J♦
Mustafa Simsek: K♣K♦
The board ran out 10♣10♠5♣2♥Q♥; Dehli's inferior pocket pair found no help on the five-card runout and he was sent to the rail
Diogo Coelho opened to 120,000 from early position. Stefan Dimitrov jammed for 950,000 before Giovanni Salvatore called off his last 415,000 from the cutoff. Alin Grasu went deep into the tank from the big blind but decided to release his hand and Coelho also folded.
Giovanni Salvatore: 10♥10♠
Stefan Dimitrov: A♥J♦
Salvatore remained ahead on the 8♥7♦5♥ flop and improved to a set on the 10♣ turn but the 9♦ river gave Dimitrov the straight.
Two hands later, Jamel Said moved all in for 185,000. Mirand Murseli and Coelho called from the blinds.
The K♦10♠6♣ flop checked through to the 5♠ turn. Murseli check-called for 180,000 before folding to a bet of 750,000 on the K♣ river.
Coelho tabled K♠J♦ and bested Said's 10♣7♠ to seal the elimination.
The pot stood at 390,000 with two players looking at a flop of 7♦9♥7♣.
Ilija Savevski, in the big blind, checked the action to Panagiotis Mavritsakis, in the cutoff. Mavritsakis bet out 115,000 and Savevski check-raised to 375,000.
The 5♣ landed on the turn and Savevski continued for 750,000. Mavritsakis thought for nearly three minutes before moving all in for what looked to be around 2,000,000 and Savevski snap-called.
Panagiotis Mavritsakis: 7♠6♠
Ilija Savevski: 8♣6♣
Mavritsakis flopped trips were behind to the turned straight of Savevski. The A♠ river changed nothing and Savevski claimed this monster pot, while Mavritsakis was sent to the rail.
David Kaufmann opened to 120,000 from the cutoff before Cecile Ticherfatine three-bet to 350,000 from the button. Kyle Boyd jammed for 1,075,000 from the small blind which folded out Kaufmann but Ticherfatine quickly called.
Kyle Boyd: A♥K♠
Cecile Ticherfatine: A♠A♦
Ticherfatine was on the right side of the preflop cooler and eliminated Boyd following the J♠J♦4♦6♥5♠ runout.
Pavlos Xanthopoulos opened to 120,000 from early position before Nicolas Trolle three-bet to 350,000 from the small blind. Stefan Dimitrov moved all in for around 1,200,000 from the big blind, which pushed out Xanthopoulos. Trolle, the slightly bigger stack, called.
Stefan Dimitrov: A♣A♥
Nicolas Trolle: KxKx
The aces remained best as the board ran out with the 6♣3♦J♣Q♣9♠. Trolle thought he was out but had 145,000 left over.
The following hand, Mirand Murseli opened to 125,000 from the hijack. Trolle put in his last chips from the button. Pietro Corsi called from the big blind and Murseli also called. Action checked through to showdown for the final board to read A♠2♣3♦5♠6♣. Trolle tabled AxQx and tripled up after his opponents could only show Qx9x and 8♥3♥.
The hand after, Alin Grasu opened to 130,000 early position. Murseli three-bet to 475,000 and Trolle committed his stack once more. Grasu folded.
Nicolas Trolle: A♦8♦
Mirand Murseli: 10♠10♥
The K♠K♥J♦ flop gave Trolle some counterfeit outs until the 10♦ turn left him drawing dead. The 7♦ completed the board and Trolle's wild ride was over.
Scott Margereson opened to 160,000 second to act before Stefan Dimitrov moved all in for 1,600,000 from the button. Henri Lansade asked for a count and then reshoved as the bigger stack from the small blind, which folded out the initial raiser.
Stefan Dimitrov: A♦J♦
Henri Lansade: Q♣Q♦
Lansade became the huge favorite after boating up on the Q♠9♦9♥ flop and the pot was pushed his way after the 2♠ turn and 5♠ river.
