Diamonds Are Ogita's Best Friend
Level 4
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Daisuke Ogita and Yauheni Tsiareshchanka were heads up on a turn of 5♣Q♦6♦5♦. Ogita sat in the big blind and made a bet of 14,000 into the pot of 25,000 chips. Tsiareshchanka put in the call and the two went off to the 7♦ river.
Ogita threw 29,500 more in the middle, around half the stack of Tsiareshchanka. Tsiareshchanka thought it over for a good while before tossing in a calling chip, after which Ogita tabled A♦K♥ for the nut flush.
Tsiareshchanka could not beat that hand as his cards disappeared in the muck, leaving him with 20 big blinds.
