Guenni's Kings are Good for the Double
Level 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Mikael Guenni opened 5,000 under the gun, and only Jean-Noel Thorel called in the big blind.
When the 10♠8♣7♥ flop hit the felt, Thorel quickly check-called a bet of 10,000 from Guenni.
The 7♣ hit the turn, and Thorel checked once again before Guenni moved all-in for 22,000. Thorel instantly called, and both hands were tabled.
Mikael Guenni: K♠K♣
Jean-Noel Thorel: A♥Q♦
Guenni's kings were good as the 8♠ rolled off on the river, securing his double.
