Resende Finds River Hero Call
Level 25
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
There was 180,000 in the middle on a board of 5♥9♣5♣2♦ when Joao Resende put out a bet of 90,000. His opponent, Louis Linard, raised to 250,000. Resende called.
On the 6♣ river Resende checked and Linard fired out a bet of 500,000. After some thought, Resende called.
Linard said "Good call" and turned over K♠Q♣ for king-high, while Resende had A♣Q♠ for ace-high, good enough to take the pot.
