Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Javier Fernandez Alonso opened to 3,000 chips from the hijack and Giuseppe Cimelli piled in his remaining 15,000 chips from the small blind.

Fernandez Alonso flicked in a quick call and the pair showed down.

Giuseppe Cimelli: 10♠10♣
Javier Fernandez Alonso: A♦8♦

Fernandez made a pair on the 7♦8♣7♣2♠4♦ board, but it was the wrong one as Cimelli's tens remained superior to double him up.
