No Miracle Comeback for Ghassan
Level 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ibrahim Ghassan was all-in for the last 1,000 from under the gun and Max Neugebauer raised to 4,500. Jonathan Borenstein defended the big blind and check-folded the 9♠6♣3♣ flop to a bet of 2,500 by Neugebauer.
Ibrahim Ghassan: Q♠6♠
Max Neugebauer: A♦J♥
Ghassan was ahead and came out on top of the 3♠4♣ runout.
One hand later, Edward Yam opened to 4,000 and Ghassan called all-in for as much out of the big blind.
Ibrahim Ghassan: 10♠7♠
Edward Yam: A♥9♥
A roller coaster board of A♠K♠10♥3♥4♠ ensured another double for Ghassan.
"They are writing down your name," Andrew Hulme joked as a potential chip and a chair comeback could unfold. Unfortunately, that was not the case as Ghassan bowed out shortly after.
