Soika Beats Countinho in Showdown
Level 13
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
On the tail end of a K♣K♥Q♣5♣6♥ board, Ihar Soika bet 20,500 in the small blind. Fellow big stack Sergio Coutinho called in the big blind but quickly mucked his cards when Soika revealed the K♠8♠ for flopped trip kings.
Both players are among the current chip leaders and Soika may very well surpass half a million in chips if he continues the hot run for the day.
