Mulder Has the Superior Straight
Level 13
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
There was only a small main pot with a completed board and cards revealed over on table 20. The stacks of Teun Mulder and Alexander Wurz were counted as it was a close affair on the 9♦8♠2♠4♦10♠ runout.
Wurz's 7♥6♠ for the bottom end of the straight ended up being no good as Mulder had Q♣J♦ for the nut straight. He also covered the 54,000 of Wurz to reduce the field by one.
