The open-raise of Peter Jorgne for 25,000 came from an early position with the K♠K♥. David Kaufmann flat-called with A♥J♣ in the small blind and outflopped the 2023 runner-up on A♣7♦5♥. Jorgne continued for 20,000 but Kaufmann then check-raised to 65,000 for the Swede to call.
Kaufmann checked again the 10♣ turn and Jorgne checked it back to see the 10♦ river, on which the German bet 150,000 into 204,000. Jorgne didn't lose any further chips in the hand as he opted to fold.
