Boatman Out-Flushes Kaufmann
Level 35
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
David Kaufmann found 10♥10♦ on the button and raised to 800,000. Barny Boatman then three-bet to 2,200,000 from the small blind with A♥J♣. Kaufmann just called and the 9♥K♥3♥ flop fanned out.
Boatman bet out 1,000,000 chips and Kaufmann put in the same amount for a call. The Q♦ came on the turn and Boatman continued to fire, this time for 2,000,000 chips. Kaufmann stuck in another call and the 4♥ river completed the board.
Both players rivered a flush, but Boatman sat on the nuts and flicked in 3,000,000 chips more. Kaufmann called it off with the lesser flush and paid his dues when Boatman tabled his cards.
