Freddy Normand in the small blind and Yanfeng Wang in the big blind had created a pot of 8,300 when they went to the flop of Q♣K♠2♣. Normand checked to Wang, who made a bet of 2,500.

Normand thought for a bit before making the call, after which the 3♣ turn appeared. Normand checked again and this time Wang put 6,500 chips in the middle.

Normand looked at his opponent, his cards, the clock, and his chips before finally electing to give this one up to Wang.

Andrew Hulme sat in the small blind and checked to his opponent Maher Achout on a turn of 9♣9♦10♦5♦. Achour then bet 3,500 into a pot of the same size, and Hulme made the call.

The 10♠ river double-paired the board and Achour fired again, this time for 9,000. Hulme did not take long before he put in another check-call.

Achour could only show 8♥7♥ for an eight-high kicker, while Hulme turned over A♦J♦ for a turned flush to rake in the pot.

The action was caught when the cards were being swept away, but with some chips already in the middle, Daniel Lellouche had put in his final 14,000 on a board of A♦10♣J♦5♣3♣.

Milos Petakovic was the other player in the hand, and his A♣K♣ for the nut flush beat the KxQx of Lellouche, who had flopped a straight.

Lellouche was dismayed and let out some stern words in his native French before storming off as the first bust-out of the EPT Paris Main Event.

On the 5♦J♣9♦ flop, the action was checked to Cavelier, who put in another 1,500. Both opponents then quickly folded, seeing Cavelier chip back up after a less-than-ideal start.
