Ho Faces Big River Decision

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Maria Ho and Laurent Cessy were heads up on a completed board of 810Q210. Ho fired 8,000 chips from middle position, into a pot of 20,500, and Laurent Cessy shoved all in for 29,200.

Laidlaw Keeps Building a Healthy Stack

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Jose Espina Santo check-called a bet worth 4,800 on the J52JA river in middle position and Dan Laidlaw flipped over his QJ for trips jacks. That was good enough to win the pot as Espina Santo sent the cards into the muck.

Bradley Stays in Contention

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Maxim Panyak raised to 1,200 and then called the shove by Ian Bradley for the last 5,900 in the small blind.

Ian Bradley: AQ
Maxim Panyak: K6

Bradley needed a diamond when the flop fell 1073 and while he missed on the 3 turn, the Brit got there with the 2 river to hang in there with a short-stack double.

Hero Call Eventually Busts Kamphues

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Timo Kamphues
Timo Kamphues

Timo Kamphues and Laszlo Molnar were battling over a 34,500-chip pot when they both checked on the 99410 turn. Kamphues then checked again on the J river, after which Molnar decided to go for it all.

He put his stack of 24,100 chips in the middle and Kamphues asked for a count. Shortly after he heard the correct number, he stuck in a call.

Molnar showed A7 for the nut flush, beating the J10 of Kamphues, who played two pair. He was left with just three big blinds, which he would lose as well shortly after the hand.

Oikonomidis Felted by Buhaiov

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Nazar Buhaiov
Nazar Buhaiov

Ioannis Oikonomidis raised to 1,200 and Nazar Buhaiov then three-bet to 3,600 from one seat over in the hijack. Erkan Soenmez called on the button only for Oikonomidis to make it 10,600 to go. Buhaiov then pushed all in to force out Soenmez, while Oikonomidis called for around 39,000.

Ioannis Oikonomidis: QQ
Nazar Buhaiov: KK

Buhaiov had the best of it and improved to a set on the K102 flop. The A turn gave Oikonomidis a life line with a gutshot but the 4 river was a blank.

Redjdal Flops a Full House and Doubles

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A large pot was brewing over on Table 46 as around 49,000 was in the middle to the KK578 river. Alexis Andre had checked out of the big blind and Romeric Redjdal then moved all in and Andre called after a few seconds of consideration.

Redjdal tabled his K5 for a flopped full house and Andre briefly exposed his AA for aces and kings. Both stacks were counted and Redjdal doubled for 26,400, leaving his opponent with one big blind only. Soon after, the seat of Andre was empty.

Hrabec Roots For Five of a Kind

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Roman Hrabec had raised from the hijack before Jason Lau jammed all in for 6,900. The action folded back to Hrabec, who put in a call.

Jason Lau: QQ
Roman Hrabec: J10

Lau had Hrabec drawing slim on the 74Q flop, and the Q turn gave him quads to lock up the pot.

"One more!" Hrabec joked while the 6 river completed the board, and he paid Lau what he was owed.

Wheeler Cannot Get Simsek to Fold

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

What started as a limped pot then brought the squeeze of Jason Wheeler in the big blind, and he was only called by Mustafa Simsek. Wheeler then bet all the way on the 954 flop for 2,600, 7,000 on the K turn as well as 20,000 on the 8 river with 100 chips behind.

Simsek called the first two bets and then went deep into the tank on the river before coming along with the marginally bigger stack. Wheeler showed his A10 for a bluff and Simsek won the pot with the 77, leaping out of his seat to brief a sigh of relief.

Wheeler was forced all-in the next hand and busted, wished everyone good luck and bumped fists with Simsek before heading out.
