Lin Ruida raised to 3,000 in the hijack and Yoshihito Shijima pushed all-in for 8,700 in the cutoff. Oswin Ziegelbecker then squeezed to 15,100 in the small blind for Ruida to call.

The flop came A♠7♣6♥ and Ziegelbecker continued for 4,000, Ruida called. No further betting action followed on the 10♣ turn and 7♥ river.

Shijima showed the 3♥3♠, Ziegelbecker had the J♦J♥ and Ruida mucked 5♦5♣.

Ruida remains one of the chip leaders at the end of Day 1b but Gheorghe Fedorca has leaped into the top spot.

The Q♠ river checked to a showdown. Saderne tabled 7♣4♥ for two pair; enough to take down this pot.

Action was on the turn on a board of 2♠7♥8♣A♥. Nariman Yaghmai moved all in for 14,000, then Kim De Sousa Carvalho pushed all in for 33,000. Bekim Murtezi then moved all in over the top of them both with the biggest stack to make for a three-way all-in. Players flipped their cards.

Bekim Murtezi: A♦7♦

Yaghmai was drawing to a straight and flush, Murtezi had two pair with aces and sevens, and Carvalho was out ahead with a set of eights.

Both of his opponents still had outs, but the river came a blank, the 4♦. Carvalho held to win the pot and near-triple his stack. Murtezi lost a chunk of chips, while Yaghmai was eliminated from the tournament.

Paul Vas Nunes opened to 2,500 from the cutoff and Benny Glaser three-bet to 8,000 on the button. Tomi Brouk then shoved for approximately 50,000 from the big blind, which got a fold from Vas Nunes and a snap-call from Glaser to put Brouk at risk.

Glaser had Brouk pipped with his queens, and the 4♠6♣3♥5♣5♥ runout came sweat-free for Glaser, who collected the rest of Brouk's chips.

The 10♥ river checked to a showdown. Pitavy rolled over his A♦J♥ for second pair, winning him this pot.

With around 35,000 in the middle to the Q♥9♦3♥8♦7♣ river, Casimir Seire had checked from under the gun. Yuhang Chen pushed all-in for what appeared to be 23,900 and Seire went deep into the tank without asking for an exact count.

Several minutes passed without any player calling the clock and Seire even apologised for taking so long, he then put the chips into the middle soon after.

Chen showed A♥J♦ for a bluff and Seire earned the knockout with the J♠7♥ for rivered fourth pair.

"That was a sick call," Rory Jennings said while Seire raked in the pot.

It was checked to Giudice on the J♠J♣8♣ flop and he bet 2,700. Only Minasi called.

Both players checked on the Q♣ turn and Minasi checked a final time on the Q♥ river. Giudice put a bet of 4,100 into the middle and Minasi looked him up.

Giudice tabled 9♦8♦ for a counterfeited pair and Minasi showed A♣K♥, which was good for the pot.
