Lin Ruida raised to 3,000 in the hijack and Yoshihito Shijima pushed all-in for 8,700 in the cutoff. Oswin Ziegelbecker then squeezed to 15,100 in the small blind for Ruida to call.
The flop came A♠7♣6♥ and Ziegelbecker continued for 4,000, Ruida called. No further betting action followed on the 10♣ turn and 7♥ river.
Shijima showed the 3♥3♠, Ziegelbecker had the J♦J♥ and Ruida mucked 5♦5♣.
Ruida remains one of the chip leaders at the end of Day 1b but Gheorghe Fedorca has leaped into the top spot.
