Santerne Calls Over-Bet
Level 23
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Thomas Santerne limped in from the button and Chris Brewer checked the big blind.
The pair then checked through the 7♣10♦K♦4♠ flop and turn before Brewer made a slight over-bet of 500,000 on the 3♦ river.
Santerne let out a sigh but tossed in a calling chip fairly quickly. Brewer showed 5♥2♦ for the lowest possible combination of cards, while Santerne turned over the winning hand with A♠7♦ for a flopped pair.
