Beresford Seems Suprised to be Good at Showdown

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

David Riha raised to 1,600 from early position, Conor Beresford called in the hijack, as did the big blind.

The QA9 flop checked through to the J on the turn. The big blind checked again and Riha bet out 2,000. Only Beresford called.

The J river saw Riha check.

"I can't do it," said Beresford as he checked back, clearly choosing not to bluff at the pot.

"Oh, I didn't have to," Beresford gladly announced as Riha showed K9 for a pair of nines. Beresford rolled over 1010, winning the hand without having to bluff at the pot.
