Jurcuta Flipped Out by Walter

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Paul Florin Jurcuta
Paul Florin Jurcuta

Paul Jurcuta opened from middle position to 8,000 and Andreas Walter three-bet from the hijack to 20,000. When the action got back to Jurcuta, he shoved for around 70,000, and Walter quickly called.

Paul Jurcuta: 88 All in
Andreas Walter: AK

Jurcuta was the at-risk player and fell behind on the K25 flop as Walter paired his king. Only a snowman or running clubs could save Jurcuta, and the 2 turn eliminated the chance of a backdoor flush. The 4 river was also no help, which meant Jurcuta hit the rail as the money bubble edged closer.

Aparicio Takes the Lead

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ignacio Sole Aparicio
Ignacio Sole Aparicio

Samy Dubonnet was already all in preflop for over 100,000 from the small blind against Ignacio Sole Aparicio, who had Dubonnet covered from under the gun.

Ignacio Sole Aparicio: AA

It was the worst-case scenario for Dubonnet, and the Q24J6 runout kept Aparicio best with his rockets to eliminate Dubonnet late in the evening.

Ibragimov Takes It On the Turn; Bojovic Among Chip Leaders

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With 20,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 39A, Antonio Zedda led out for 8,000 from the small blind and Artur Ibragimov called from the big blind. Sander Ostlyngen in the hijack folded.

A 10 dropped on the turn and Zedda slowed down with a check, then folded when Ibragimov bet 25,000.

Luka Bojovic is on the same table and has around 380,000 in his stack, which puts him among the chip leaders.

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The J84 flop gave Isberg hope with a flush draw, but the 9 turn and A river bricked out to eliminate Isberg as the bubble draws near.

Dan Applies Pressure to Neugebauer

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Max Neugebauer
Max Neugebauer

There were around 30,000 chips in the pot on a flop of K82 when Yurii Dan in the small blind check-called a bet of 10,000 from Max Neugebauer in early position.

A 6 dropped on the turn and after Dan checked for a second time, Neugebauer fired out 35,000. Dan wasted no time in moving all in, which gave Neugebauer a decision for his remaining 65,000. It didn't appear to be a difficult choice for the Austrian player as he almost immediately mucked his hand, which meant Dan got a little richer.

Kiers Hits Half a Million

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Martijn Kiers
Martijn Kiers

Martijn Kiers opened from early position to 10,000 and Stanislav Ivanov three-bet to 32,500 from the small blind. Kiers then put in a four-bet to around 65,000, and Ivanov shoved for roughly 140,000. Kiers snap-called.

Stanislav Ivanov: KK All in
Martijn Kiers: QQ

Ivanov was in great shape to score a late double-up, but the flop of QA2 severely dampened his plans as Kiers improved to middle set. An 8 on the turn wasn't any help to Ivanov, and neither was the 8 river, which meant he was eliminated and Kiers' stack grew to around half a million.

Jeda Gets Value From Rohlich

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Heads-up in what appeared to be a three-bet pot, Ron Jeda checked from middle position to Robert Rohlich, who bet 25,000 in late position on a K73 flop. Jeda called.

Both players checked on the 6 turn and then Jeda bet 30,000 after the 4 completed the board.

Rohlich decided to look Jeda up and Jeda tabled K8 for a pair of kings. Rohlich sent his hand into the muck upon seeing it and Jeda added to his stack.
