Desset Dusted by Drbal

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Andrej Desset opened to 160,000 from under the gun and action folded to Vaclav Drbal in the small blind, who made it 650,000 to go. Desset responded by shoving for approximately 1,700,000 total and Drbal called after a bit of thought.

Vaclav Drbal: AQ

The 287 flop came safe for Desset, but the Q turn vaulted Drbal into the lead with a pair of queens.

Desset couldn't catch his three-outer on the 6 river and Drbal was claimed the knockout.

Sklenicka Busts Krzyminski

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Michael Sklenicka opened to 160,000 under the gun, and was faced with a three-bet to 500,000 from Michal Krzyminski in the cutoff. Action folded back to Sklenicka, who thought for a bit before pumping it up to 950,000.

Kryzminski didn't take long before five-bet jamming for 2,205,000 total, and didn't look pleased when Sklenicka snapped with the slightly covering stack.

Krzyminski was ahead in a race, but that didn't last long after the flop came AK4, giving Sklenicka top two pair. Kryzminski was down to two outs, and they didn't arrive on the 53 turn and river.

Andro Scarpa was seen departing another table, having also busted.

Set for Ampelikiotis

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Around 1,050,000 was in the middle on a board of AK69, in a three-way hand between Ladislao Dalfo in the big blind, and Theodoros Ampelikiotis and Gerald Karlic in middle position, with action checked through.

The 7 river completed the board, and Dalfo check-called a bet of 500,000 from Ampelikiotis, with Karlic getting out of the way.

Ampelikiotis tabled KK for the flopped set of kings, and Dalfo mucked, claiming shortly afterwards he had a set of sixes.
