Astedt Makes Full House to Double Up

Elias Suhonen raised to 35,000 from late position and Niklas Astedt called in the big blind.

The flop came 9♠9♦8♦ and Astedt checked. Suhonen bet 20,000 and Astedt check-raised to 52,000. Suhonen was having none of it and moved all in, which Astedt quickly called with the smaller stack of 208,000.

Astedt showed K♥9♥ for trip nines, while Suhonen flipped over Q♦10♦ for a straight flush draw.

"Not what I wanted to see," said Astedt.

But the turn came the 8♥ to give him a full house, leaving Suhonen drawing thin to the J♦. The river was the 5♥ and Astedt doubled his stack, leaving Suhonen with less than two big blinds.

A few players headed to the bounty chest to pull their bounty tokens during the break. Andras Nemeth pulled a €20,000 prize, Michail Manolakis pulled two €10,000 prizes. Nikita Kuznetsov also pulled a €10,000 prize, as did Candido Cappiello.

Elias Suhonen was all-in for his last 25,000, just over one big blind. Nikita Kuznetsov and Andras Nemeth called before Niklas Astedt moved all in from the button for 550,000. The rest of the table folded, leaving Astedt and Suhonen to turn their cards.

Action folded to Morten Klein in the small blind, who moved all in for 205,000. Maksim Vaskresenski gave it a bit of thought in the big blind, and made the call to put Klein at risk on the bubble.

Klein was ahead, but was in trouble after the 8♣3♦2♦ flop gave his opponent top pair. The A♠ turn was a brick, but the Q♥ rolled off on the river to give Klein a lifeline and the pot.

Ilia Pavlov opened to 40,000 under the gun, and received calls from Andras Nemeth and Niklas Astedt in the blinds.

Action was checked to Pavlov on the A♠A♦4♣ flop, who fired out a bet of 30,000, which only Nemeth called.

The 3♥ turn was checked through. On the K♥ river, Nemeth led out with a bet of 135,000. Pavlov thought through the spot for a moment, before moving all in for 660,000.

Nemeth looked pained and went into the tank, but ultimately elected to fold, sending a decent pot to Pavlov.
