It's Sweden vs Sweden

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Johan Eklind
Johan Eklind

There were around 470,000 chips in the middle on KJ47. Johan Eklind from the small blind checked his option to the big blind Carl Falk who checked behind.

Eklind led when the 7 hit the river for 130,000 and Falk was in the tank with his jumper over his mouth.

After a few minutes Falk decided to call but was shown the nuts as Eklind tabled A7. This pot took Eklind's stack to over 1,000,000.

Denis Gergoc raised to 40,000 from the button, and Andrej Tekel called from the big blind.

Schuh Put in the Blender

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river of AK78K. Michal Schuh in the big blind was facing an all-in check-raise from Felix Rabas from the small blind. There was around 300,000 in the pot including Schuh's river bet.

Schuh was clearly not happy with the spot he was put in as he was covered by Rabas. Around three to five minutes elapsed before the clock was eventually called.

Schuh had five seconds left of the given 30 seconds of time before he folded. He tapped the table and said "nice bluff" to his opponent, before adding "why didn't I check back."

Lofberg Flops the World

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Simon Lofberg
Simon Lofberg

Simon Lofberg moved all in from late position for 185,000, and Nathan Tetart responded by going all in as well from his direct left.

Simon Lofberg: Q10 All in
Nathan Tetart: A9

Lofberg needed to hit something to survive, and although the flop of J39 didn't give him a pair, it provided him with plenty of outs. The K on the turn was one of them, and the J on the river completed his flush, securing an important double up.

Ihnatovich Can't Find a Seven

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mikalai Ihnatovich opened the action to 60,000 from middle position. The action folded to Virgile Turchi in the small blind, who announced all in. The big blind folded, and Ihnatovich made the call.

Virgile Turchi: 88 All in
Mikalai Ihnatovich: 77

"Not again," Ihnatovich said, asking the dealer for a seven this time. However, his wish wasn't granted as the dealer put out a full board of 109510K. Turchi's pair of eights held up, and he won the pot, pushing his stack over the million-chip mark.
