De Rooij Doubles With Full House

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Artsiom Lasouski open-raised to 12,000 from middle position and Thomas de Rooij moved all in for 81,000 from late position. The rest of the table folded and Lasouski made the call with the covering stack. Players flipped their cards.

Thomas de Rooij: 55 All in
Artsiom Lasouski: AQ

It was a coinflip situation and the flop ran out A57 to give Lasouski a pair of aces and de Rooij a set of fives. The turn was the 7, which completed de Rooij's full house but also brought Lasaouski a glimmer of hope that he could river an ace for a higher full house.

That didn't happen though, as the river came the Q and de Rooij held to double his stack.

A pot of around 300,000 had already developed on a board of Q5J28 between Ken Oberlieben in the small blind and Robin Zagorski from early position.

On the river, Oberlieben had checked it over to Zagorski, who fired out a chunky bet of 205,000. Oberlieben was thinking it over for quite some time, but eventually tossed in a chip to signify a call.

Zagorski then showed 44 for a pair of fours, and Oberlieben revealed the winner holding KJ for a pair of jacks.

Mack Spikes a Flush to End Naveiro's Tournament

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Adrian Mack
Adrian Mack

Adrian Mack raised to 13,000 from middle position before Sylwia Studniarz three-bet to 30,000 on the button. Inigo Naveiro four-bet shoved from the small blind for 132,000 and only Mack called.

Inigo Naveiro: JJ All in
Adrian Mack: AJ

Naveiro was a great position to double-up with pocket jacks if he could fade an unfortunate runout.

The 6K9 flop provided Mack with a flush draw, but the 9 on the turn meant only a river spade or ace would end Naveiro's Main Event. The 2 dropped on the river to give Mack the winner with a flush, sending Naveiro to the rail.

Carbo Shows Top Pair as Vrakas Correctly Checks Back River

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

There were already around 75,000 chips in the pot on a 244 flop between Gerard Carbo from under the gun and Georgios Vrakas in the next seat when they both decided to check the flop.

On the Q turn, Carbo checked and Vrakas fired 40,000. After taking some time, Carbo slid forward the chips to call.

A 5 dropped on the river and after Carbo checked, Vrakas took his time before he eventually knuckled back.

Carbo then revealed AQ for top pair, top kicker, and Vrakas will be glad he checked back the river as he mucked.
