Mykhailo Ostash raised 7♥5♣ to 200,000 in the cutoff. Adria Calonge came along in the small blind with K♠J♥, and Tom-Aksel Bedell defended his big blind with K♦9♠.

Ostash continued with a bet of 175,000 on the 4♠4♣10♦ flop, receiving two check-folds and increasing his lead further.

On the next deal, Ostash found A♥A♣ under the gun, raising it to 200,000. Tomasz Brzezinski looked at Q♥6♥ in the big blind, but wisely decided not to tangle with the chip leader and let his hand go.

Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 200,000 on the button. Mykhailo Ostash called in the big blind and checked the 5♦9♣6♣ flop over to the initial raiser. Bedell checked back, prompting Ostash to take a stab of 175,000 on the 10♠ turn.

Bedell wanted to see a river and flicked in a call, after which the duo checked to showdown when the A♣ completed the board. Ostash showed Q♦8♥ for queen-high, but Bedell's K♣J♥ was slightly better as he was shipped the pot.

The next hand, Tomasz Brzezinski upped the price of play to 200,000 on the button with 6♦6♣. Ostash three-bet to 800,000 in the small blind with A♦6♥, getting Brzezinski to muck his pocket pair.

Brzezinski jammed as the big stack and Boika ditched his A♥J♥. Bedell went into the tank, and decided to fold A♠Q♦. Brzezinski had K♥K♣ and collected the pot.

Aliaksei Boika raised his small blind to 300,000 with. Adria Calonge called in the big blind, after which the pair checked through the 6♠7♥10♣ flop.

Boika continued knuckling the table on the Q♦ turn, and Calogne followed suit again. After the 6♣ river completed the board, Boika checked for a third time.

Calonge veered from the previous course and slid in a massive bet of 850,000. Boika gave his hand some serious thought, burning through four time banks before he finally decided to call.

Calonge had been caught bluffing with J♣9♠. Boika triumphantly tabled A♦J♦ for a hero-call with ace-high, winning the pot to overtake Calonge in the counts.

On the button, Tom-Aksel Bedell tossed in a few time banks before he announced his all-in for 1,050,000. Mykhailo Ostash asked for a count in the big blind, making the call when he heard the correct amount.

Bedell's ducks were in dire shape against the threes of Ostash. The 4♠K♠3♥ flop gave Ostash a set and put Bedell in an even worse predicament, as he needed runner-runner to remain in contention.

Instead, the Norwegian was drawing dead after the Q♥ hit the turn. Bedell stood up and shook hands with his former opponents while the K♥ river completed the board, then exited the stage to pick up his payout.

The 9♥8♠5♠ flop checked through to the 4♥ turn. Ostash led out for 500,000 and was quickly called. The 2♦ completed the board, and Ostash tossed in a time bank to further consider his options. As the big stack, Ostash decided to jam into a pot of 1,550,000. Boika had 3,600,000 and took little time in calling for his tournament life.

Brzezinski continued for 300,000, but Ostash check-raised to 850,000. Brzezinski just flicked in a call, seeing Ostash put in another 900,000 on the 5♦ turn.

Brzezinski had seen enough and decided to move all in for 4,050,000. Ostash snap-folded his jack-high, and Brzezinski was awarded the sizable pot without showdown.

Small blind Mykhailo Ostash looked down at K♥7♦ and made it 300,000 to go. Adria Calonge defended his big blind with Q♥10♦ and called Ostash's continuation-bet of 225,000 on the A♣9♠8♥ flop.

The 7♣ turn made Ostash check, prompting Calonge to fire a bet of 450,000. Ostash quickly let go of his bottom pair, sending some much-needed chips to the short stack of the table.
