Ostash Doubles in First All-In and Call

Mykhailo Ostash limped in on the button, Tomasz Brzezinski made it 400,000 to go on the button, and Ostash moved all in for 4,500,000. Brzezinski snapped him off, and the cards were revealed.

With the whole room watching the big screens, the dealer fanned the A♥9♥K♣ flop, giving Ostash a big lead with a pair of kings. He improved to trips on the K♠ turn, and the 4♦ river failed to make Brzezinski a full house.

Ostash doubled up to a stack of 60 big blinds as the heads-up battle continued.

Mykhailo Ostash raised his button to 300,000 with A♦10♣. Tomasz Brzezinski defended 6♦5♣ in the big blind, after which the duo checked through the K♠4♥3♣ flop.

Brzezinski checked again on the 7♥ turn, enticing Ostash to bet 250,000. Having turned the nuts, Brzezinski announced a raise to 850,000, which Ostash quickly called.

Brzezinski went for a pot-sized bet of 2,600,000 on the 8♦ river, but Ostash thought better of it and instantly released his ace-high.

Ostash Q♦J♥ made it 300,000, and Brzezinski K♦3♥ called from the big blind. Brzezinski check-raised his bottom pair to 1,050,000 over a bet of 325,000 on the 9♥8♣3♠ flop. Ostach called with his gutshot straight draw and two overs.

The 4♠ turn saw Brzezinski size up to 1,600,000, and Ostash remained sticky.

The 2♥ brick completed the board, and Brzezinski took the pot after it checked through to showdown.

Tomasz Brzezinski raised his button to 350,000 with A♦3♦. Mykhailo Ostash looked down at 8♥7♥ in the big blind and decided to call. Brzezinski continued for 250,000 on the K♠6♥6♦ flop, which Ostash check-called.

The 4♦ turn was checked by both players, after which the 2♦ river completed the board. Ostash fired a bluff worth 325,000, but he quickly folded when Brzezinski raised his flush to 1,700,000.

Brzezinski had the winner with sixes and fours, and he bet 250,000. Ostash called with his queen-high and saw another pot go to Brzezinski.

On the next deal, Brzezinski opened to 500,000 with K♠5♣ and folded out Ostash. Brzezinski also got a walk the hand after.

Brzezinski 8♥5♥ limped in from the button and Ostash 10♠9♥ checked. Ostash check-folded to a bet of 200,000 on the 6♠4♦3♠ flop.

Mykhailo Ostash limped his button. Tomasz Brzezinski made it 700,000 in the big blind, which Ostash just called. Both players checked the 9♦2♣9♥ flop, and Brzezinski checked the 8♦ turn as well.

Ostash tossed in a bet of 600,000, seeing Brzezinski call. After a third check by Brzezinski on the A♦ river, Ostash piled 1,600,000 into the pot. Brzezinski quickly called to see Ostash table A♥8♠.

The river had been detrimental for Ostash's hand, however, as Brzezinski's A♣K♠ had made a better hand with aces and nines with a king kicker.
