Jonathan Therme had three-bet an earlier open to 3,200 from the small blind when Richard Geyer bumped it up to 7,700 in the big blind. The initial raiser got out of the way before Therme obliged with a call.
Both players checked the 3♣9♠7♣ flop, and Therme did so too when the A♠ arrived on the turn. Geyer took the opportunity to bet 11,700, which Therme called.
The table was knuckled by both again on the 9♦ river. Therme tabled A♦Q♦ for top pair, and he won the pot when Geyer's cards were returned face down.
