Brendo Sent Packing Before the Break
Level 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Oddvar Brendo shoved his last 22,500 from early position in the middle of the table in the final hand before the break. Action folded to Bogdan Munteanu in the small blind, who quickly went all in as well. With the big blind out of the way, it was time for a showdown.
Oddvar Brendo: A♠8♥
Bogdan Munteanu: K♠K♥
The kings held strong as the board ran out 4♠6♠2♣4♣5♦, sending Brendo to the rail and giving Munteanu a much healthier stack.
