Tom-Aksel Bedell made it 50,000 in middle position. Tom Vogelsang three-bet to 150,000 in the cutoff, and Bedell stuck around with a call. Vogelsang continued for 120,000 on the 10♠6♥K♠ flop. Bedell called to the 5♦ turn, which checked through.
The 2♠ river also checked to showdown, where Vogelsang's A♥10♣ bested the 9♥8♥ of Bedell to take the pot.
Adrian Mateos opened to 50,000 in the cutoff. Giorgos Onisiforou put his last 315,000 at risk in the small blind, which Tom-Aksel Bedell cold-called in the big blind.
Mateos ended up letting go of his 7♥7♦, leaving the blinds to show down.
Giorgos Onisiforou: A♥10♠
Tom-Aksel Bedell: K♦Q♥
Bedell paired his queen on the 4♠Q♣9♦ flop. Onisiforou needed an ace after the 4♦ turn, but the river came the 7♠ instead, ending the Main Event run of the Cypriot.
Juan Pardo and Ben Heath saw a flop of 6♠5♠Q♥ from the blinds with no further action on the flop.
The 7♣ hit the turn, and Pardo led out for 60,000, which Heath called.
After a pause and a time bank card, Pardo fired 250,000 on the 7♠ river. Heath double-checked his cards before calling. Pardo showed 10♣8♦ for a missed straight, while Heath revealed 4♣3♠ for the straight to scoop the pot.
Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 60,000 in the small blind. Tom Vogelsang responded with a three-bet to 240,000 in the big blind, which Bedell reraised to 560,000.
Vogelsang did not deem that amount enough, as he moved all in for a massive 1,410,000. Bedell asked for a count, then called without using any of his many time banks, saying, "I like my hearts."
Tom Vogelsang: K♠K♣
Tom-Aksel Bedell: K♥Q♥
Vogelsang was in great shape to win the gigantic pot, but the deck crushed his dreams when A♥J♥5♥ appeared on the flop, giving Bedell a flush.
Vogelsang needed runner-runner outs to remain in contention; instead, he was drawing dead after the 8♦ turn.
Vogelsang said his goodbyes as the meaningless A♦ river completed the board, seeing Bedell drag the massive pot to once again establish a big lead over the rest of the field.
Joao Tomas opened from early position and found a caller in Adria Calonge in the big blind.
On the 4♣5♠10♥ flop, Calonge check-called Tomas’ continuation bet of 85,000.
The 3♥ landed on the turn, and this time Calonge led out for 80,000. Tomas called.
When the 3♣ hit the river, Calonge fired again, this time for 55,000. Tomas made the call, only to see Calonge reveal 10♦10♣ for a full house to scoop the pot.
Mykhailo Ostash made it 50,000 to go in middle position with Q♥Q♦. Aliaksei Boika flat-called K♥Q♠ in the small blind, and Tomasz Brzezinski defended his big blind with A♣10♥.
The blinds checked to Ostash on the 4♥6♥A♠ flop, who bet 45,000 and was called in both spots. Boika led out for 100,000 on the 9♥, which folded out Brzezinski's top pair.
Ostash stuck around with a call, however, and the 10♦ river graced the felt afterward. Boika slid in a pot-sized bet of 500,000, to which Ostash eventually folded as he neared the end of his regular shot clock.
Aliaksei Boika made it 50,000 to go in the cutoff, having looked at 6♠6♣. Tomasz Brzezinski three-bet to 150,000 on the button with K♣Q♦, and Boika bought a flop with his call.
The small bet of 80,000 Brzezinski wagered on the 10♠8♠2♠ flop was not enough to fold out Boika. The 2016 EPT Malta champion called to see the 8♦ river, where he led out for 75,000.
Brzezinski needed one time bank before he folded his king-high, surrendering more chips to Boika.
Maxime Chilaud opened K♠6♠ to 50,000 in the hijack. David Tous made it 140,000 to go in the small blind with K♦9♦, and Tom-Aksel Bedell called the three-bet in the big blind with A♣10♣.
Chilaud got out of the way for the dealer to fan the Q♠Q♣8♠ flop. Tous checked, and Bedell followed suit. Tous also checked the 4♣ turn. Bedell took the opportunity to bet 175,000, folding out the king-high of Tous.
