Faria K♥Xx opened to 80,000 from the button, and saw Juan Pardo Q♦9♦ call from the small blind. Pardo picked up a straight-flush draw on the A♠J♦8♦ flop, which checked through to the 7♣ turn. Pardo led out for 245,000 and folded out Faria.

Faria A♥Q♠ played a third consecutive hand, raising to 80,000 from the cutoff. Ben Heath defended with 10♣Xx. Faria had a straight and flush draw after the K♥J♥4♥, and his bet of 50,000 forced Heath out of the pot.
