La Padula Doubles Through Ticherfatine

Following a middle position open-raise to 1,000, Giovanni La Padula three-bet to 3,000 from the next seat across. Cecile Ticherfatine then four-bet to 8,500 from the small blind and only La Padula made the call.
The flop came 9♣9♠7♦ and Ticherfatine gently placed out a bet of 6,000, which La Padula called. The turn came the J♣ and Ticherfatine bet 11,000, which was most of her opponent's stack. La Padula put the rest in the middle for a total of 14,800 and Ticherfatine called.
"You were supposed to fold," said Ticherfatine as she flipped over A♦K♠. La Padula flipped over 6♦6♠ and had the best of it.
The river was a blank and La Padula won the pot to double his stack.
