Calamusa Raises Blocking Bet
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ari Engel open-raised to 2,200 from late position, Pierre Calamusa called on the button, and the player in the big blind called.
The flop came K♠A♦2♣ and action checked to Calamusa, who made it 3,000. Only Engel called. Both players then checked it back on the 8♥ turn.
The river was the Q♥ and Engel made a small blocking bet of 1,600. Calamusa wasn't having any of it and raised it up to 10,000. Engel folded and Calamusa took the pot.
