Chevalier then bet 35,000 and Mariani again called. The river was the A♦ and Chevalier slid forward 95,000 as Mariani let out a loud sigh and tanked for a few minutes before calling.
Chevalier could only show K♣Q♠ for a bluff and Mariani turned over A♠Q♦ for trips to win the pot.
