Eskes Doubles Against Unexpected Holding

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With the pot counting 15,000 chips, Tjenno Eskes pushed all his 19,700 chips in from the big blind on a completed board of 85Q610. His opponent was Rudolf Kosa on the button, who took some time before calling off.

Eskes tabled QJ for top pair, doubling up when Kosa was forced to show Q9 for the same pair with a lower kicker.

"I didn't expect a queen," Eskes admitted as he raked in the pot.

"I know, that's why I have to call," Kosa replied.
