Lisii Climbs Above Start; Jontulovic Calls Clock on Himself
Level 3
: Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
On a 3♥J♣9♥J♦ turn, Serghei Lisii bet 3,700 from the big blind. Hijack Fation Topalli then raised to 9,7000, and Lisii called. The 2♣ river was quickly checked to showdown, where Lisii tabled A♣J♥ for the winning hand.
Over at another table, Matthew Wantman, under the gun, had bet 14,400 into a pot of 16,000 on the K♣3♣2♠9♥J♠ river. Bogdan Jontulovic in middle position went deep into the tank, eventually calling the clock on himself.
He was given a 30-second countdown but folded before the timer reached zero.
