Der Megreditchian Wisely Checks Behind
Level 5
: Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Eric Rabut raised to 1,100 from early position and Tolga Alibeyoglu called from the hijack. Jacques Der Megreditchian squeezed to 3,700 from the cutoff, and both opponents called.
When the action checked to Der Megreditchian on the 2♦4♦3♠ flop, he bet 3,000, and only Alibeyoglu continued with a call.
Alibeyoglu check-called a second bet from Der Megreditchian on the 9♠ turn, this time for 7,000.
Both players checked the A♦ river and Alibeyoglu took down the pot with 5♥4♥, having rivered a wheel.
