Talboom's Boat Sinks Hilmisson's Main Event Chances
Level 1
: Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Dario Pieruzzini raised to 300 under the gun and Tom Talboom called on the button. Axel Hilmisson three-bet to 1,700 from the small blind, and only Talboom called.
Talboom called bets from Hilmisson on the Q♥3♣J♥ flop, 2♥ turn, and finally the 3♦ river. The first was for 1,200, the second 4,500, before Hilmisson jammed for about 22,000 on the river.
Hilmisson turned over K♥9♥ for a flush, but it was no good against Talboom's 3♠2♠ for a full house, sending Hilmisson to the rail.
