Preziosi Sends Asanov Packing
Level 6
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Fulvio Preziosi raised to 1,200 from early position and Chubak Asanov called from the next seat. David Wintersberger squeezed to 3,000 from the hijack, which Preziosi and Asanov both called.
All three were happy to check the J♣K♠4♥ flop before the 3♠ rolled off on the turn. Preziosi led out for 9,500, and only Asanov called.
The 5♦ completed the board, prompting Preziosi to shove, covering Asanov.
Asanov quickly called off his stack of about 20,000, but was shown the bad news as Preziosi tabled K♣J♦ for two pair. Asanov could only show A♥K♦ for a pair of kings, sending all of his chips Preziosi's way.
