Haeffner Gets Value With a Boat
Level 13
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
With about 24,000 in the pot on a completed board of Q♥10♥A♦K♣A♥, Mengshi Tian checked from the big blind, and Gabriel Haeffner fired for 22,500 out of the cutoff.
Tian tanked for a while before reluctantly putting in the call, only to be shown a full house by Haeffner with A♠K♠. Tian couldn't beat it and showed the A♣ as the pot was given to Haeffner.
