Souza Three-Bets the River
Level 15
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Antoine Labat raised under the gun to 9,000 and Tiago Souza defended from the big blind.
Both players checked the 4♠9♣7♦9♥ board before Souza led out for 6,000 on the 5♠ river. Labat thought momentarily and then raised to 25,000.
Souza used a time bank of his own before sliding out a three-bet totaling 96,000. Labat let it go, and Souza picked up the pot.
