'"Ship it to Papa! I'm Papa!"
Arturo Rodriguez raised from middle position to 10,000, and Kalman Dohany called from the cutoff. Nicholas Palma committed his final 3,000 from the small blind before pulling his shirt up over his mouth and neck, making sure his opponents weren't going to pick up any reads. Antoine Vranken then came along from the big blind.
With Palma all-in, the three players checked the Q♦9♥10♦ flop, and Palma was quick to question the lack of aggression.
"Are these guys all friends?" he jokingly asked.
"They want me out; that's how good I am," he continued, getting some laughs from the table.
The 6♠ fell on the turn, and Vranken checked again. Rodriguez bet 15,000, and only Vranken called.
Two more checks came on the 4♦ river, and Vranken turned over J♦7♠ for jack-high. Rodriguez showed K♥Q♣ to at least claim the side pot, but it was time for Palma's big reveal.
He slammed down A♦Q♥ for top pair, top kicker, to keep his seat, before bellowing, "Ship it to Papa! I'm Papa!"
