Carbo Overtakes Enselme
Level 17
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Arnaud Enselme in middle position and Gerard Carbo in the cutoff had built a pot of 150,000 when they saw the 4♣4♦3♥8♥ turn. Enselme checked to Carbo, who bet 100,000.
Enselme called to the A♥ river, which both players checked. Enselme tabled 10♥10♦, but his tens were no good as Carbo had K♠K♥ for a higher pocket pair.
