Ferrari Shifting Gears
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Three ways to turn on a board of 5♠Q♦6♥9♥, where Sebastian Malec checked from the small blind, and Manuel Ferrari bet 50,000 from the big blind. Miroslav Rizov called on the button before Malec check-raised to 150,000. Ferrari called, and Rizov folded.
A board-pairing 9♦ joined the river, and Malec bet just 20,000.
Ferrari used a time bank, then slid out a stack of green T-25,000 chips, raising to 400,000. Malec instantly folded, and Ferrari won the pot.
