Criado Picks Off Tavares With Bottom Pair
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jose Criado completed from the small blind and Gabriel Tavares raised to 55,000 in the big blind. Criado called.
Criado check-called a continuation-bet of 125,000 from Tavares on the 8♠6♥3♦ flop.
Both players checked the 7♦ turn to see the J♠ complete the board. A final check came from Criado and Tavares gathered together a bet of 250,000. Criado thought it over, burned through a couple of time banks, and then slammed in the call.
Tavares sheepishly turned over A♥5♥ for a bluff, and Criado confidently slapped down A♠3♠ for just bottom pair, and the big pot went to him.
