Akemi Takes it Away from Carbo
Level 26
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
With K♥10♥, Barbara Akemi raised to 100,000 from early position, and only Gerard Carbo called from the cutoff holding K♣J♦.
The dealer spread the 8♠Q♠3♥ flop, and both checked to see the J♠ on the turn. Akemi put out a delayed continuation-bet of 140,000, which Carbo called.
The 7♠ fell on the river, and Akemi fired for 445,000. Carbo let it go, and Akemi won the pot.
