Akemi and Carbo Tangle Again
Level 26
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Gerard Carbo opened K♥6♥ to 100,000 in middle position, and Barbara Akemi defended her big blind with A♥J♠. Carbo continued with another 100,000 on the Q♦A♦5♥ flop, and Akemi check-called.
The Q♣ turn prompted both players to check. The dealer placed the 3♣ on the river, on which Akemi bet 360,000. Carbo did not try to pull any tricks, and he folded his king-high to concede the pot.
