Back-to-Back Kings for Van Eeden
Level 32
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Lukas van Eeden stared down at K♥K♦ in the cutoff, and he raised it to 400,000. Gerard Carbo found A♣8♣ in the big blind, with which he defended.
Van Eeden tossed in 525,000 on the 3♠4♦2♠ flop, enough to earn him the pot as Carbo folded his cards.
On the next deal, Xiaosheng Zheng made it 400,000 to go under the gun, holding 6♥6♣. Van Eeden again had pocket kings, and this time he three-bet jammed for 5,175,000 with K♦K♣.
Zheng considered his options, but ultimately deemed the amount too much and folded.
