Updated Chip Counts

We apologize for the delay in a chip count update, but the restricted media access is making the counting process quite difficult (we're all still banned from inside the ropes and it looks like it will remain that way for the duration).

Everyone's count has been updated as of the last break. Here's a look at our current top five:

Trond Eidsvig 565,000
Mika Paasonen 477,500
Adam Junglen 355,000
Dag Martin Mikkelsen 348,000
Patrick Bruel 290,000

Jean Baptiste Tomi Eliminated in 23rd Place (€20,900)

Jean Baptiste Tomi
Jean Baptiste Tomi
On a flop of {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, Jean Baptiste Tomi bet 60,000 and Mohamad Kowssarie called. The turn was the {A-Diamonds} and Tomi moved all in for about 150,000. Kowssarie quickly called. Tomi flipped over {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Kowssarie tabled {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flopped straight. The river was the {A-Clubs} and Tomi headed to the rail in 23rd place.

Down to 22 players. We are fourteen more eliminations away from the completion of Day 3.

Dag Martin Mikkelsen
Before start time today we got to chat with Dag Martin Mikkelsen, who is most known as the chip leader for a good portion of this year's WSOP Main Event. He talked about waiting for some of the short stacks to bust out earlier today while tightening up in the meantime.

Juan Maceiras Doubles Through Adam Junglen

Juan Maceiras raised 18,000 from the cutoff and Adam Junglen re-raised to 48,000 from the button. Maceiras moved all in for 90,000 total and thought Junglen said "I call." Maceiras flipped over {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and exposed his hand although Junglen did not call. He asked the dealer for a count on Maceiras's chips. Even though Junglen knew Maceiras's hand, he called with {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. The flop was {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Junglen took the lead. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and Maceiras picked up a flush draw. All of his railbirds were calling for a diamond in Spanish. The river was the {Q-Diamonds}. Junglen made a Jack-hgh flush but that was no good. Maceiras took down the pot with a King-high flush and doubled up. After that hand, Junglen slipped to 190,000.
