Tournament organizers were hoping to play down to the final table of eight players. Alas, there are 13 left when action was suspended by tournament director Thomas Kresmer. Due to local gaming laws, the Barcelona Casino must close by 4am. The remaining 13 players will return tomorrow at 3:30pm local time to play out for the PokerStars.com EPT Barcelona championship.

On the last hand of the night, Kees Alblas made a move with {10-Diamonds}

and unfortunately ran into Sander Lylloff's {A-Hearts}

. The flop was {9-Clubs}

. The turn was the {6-Diamonds}

and the river was the {2-Hearts}

. Sander Lylloff won the pot and Kees Alblas headed to the rail in 14th place. He won €33,450.

Though we were scheduled to play down to the final table of eight, the tournament directors have made the decision to end the day's play at the conclusion of this level, in about 13 minutes time. The remaining players will return at 3:30 PM local time to continue play.

Reason being? Unlike Las Vegas casinos, which would never even think of closing, the Casino Barcelona opens at 3 p.m. every day and by law, must close at precisely 4 a.m.

with about 120,000 in the pot, Nikolaus Jedlicka fired out 85,000 and Sander Lylloff moved all in for 190,000 total. Jedlicka folded.

There is a short break on the featured table while they go to the overhead camera to determine who is the owner of a stray (small) stack of chips. In the blur that was the Junglen double up, the players seem to not to be able to remember whose chips they are. Short break to figure it out.
