Luck be a Legend Tonight

Mickey 'the Legend' Wernick is hanging in there, he has just doubled up to around $30K after his pocket sevens developed into a set against pocket jacks.

Elsewhere Tuncer Ellezer got all his chips in the middle with {A-Spades}{J-Spades} against Dennis Christensen's {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

The flop came {Q-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts} giving him a lot of outs.

Turn is a {5-Hearts}

River is the {K-Spades} giving him the nut flush over Christensens set. Tuncer is now up to about $42000

Markus Golser is out

He had gotten very short after doubling up Miroslav Sima. Then had to move with {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}. I'm unsure of his opponent in the hand but it wasn't a huge pot.

{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} on the flop.

{5-Hearts} on the turn

{Q-Clubs} the river means Golser's roller-coaster tournament is finally brought to a halt.

Barnes out to Fougeron

David Barnes is out to Thomas Fougeron. Fougerons {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} held out to Barnes {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

Amazingly Fougeron thought his tournament was over yesterday afternoon as he quickly got his coat and left, only to be shouted back in to be told he had a mere 500 chips left. Since then he has amassed a stack of $60000 and put on a bit of a masterclass in the process.

Sebastian Ruthernberg still chip leader on 260,000 but spewing chips around by trying to win every pot. He just doubled up a shorty with {9-Spades}{4-Spades} against {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for a 50,000+ pot.

Pablo Rua takes a hit

On the last hand before the break he got involved in a pot with German player Michael Mücklisch. He hit a perfect low flop with his {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} only to be put to a decision for 50,000 chips by the German. He calls.

Mücklisch showed {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush draw which he hit on the river and Mr. Rua goes on his break shaking his head and talking to himself. He's down to 50,000
