Interesting Match-ups

Chip Leader Johnny Lodden (Norway) and Mattias Andersson (Sweden) have been put on the same table, albeit 3 seats apart.

The table of death however has to be table 18 where 3 big stacks are sitting side by side. Rehne Pederson (right), Pablo Rua and Roland De Wolfe are in seats 1 to 3 and all above the 70,000 mark.

Shuffle Up and Deal

We have started day 2, expect to see plenty of early busts as we have a lot of short stacks. We will have access to the TV table so expect to see a lot of action.

The prize stucture has not yet been finalised, its about to be announced.

Double Up

Miroslav Sima raised from early position to 3500 and Thang Nguyen called in the next seat. It was folded to Thomas Fougeron in the small blind who moved all in for 20,200. Sima called and Nguyen folded.

{A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for Sima
{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for Fougeron.

The board came 9 high and Fougeron moves his stack up to over 45K.

Blackout

Longmann has shown no fear to the EPT champion

No its not Andy Black busting this time, a lighting problem caused us to stop the clock for 5 minutes, but we are up and running again.

Carlos Ferron and Kristian Kjondal have both just busted from table 8. Elsewhere Florian Longmann has come to play, having just reraised Roland De Wolfe off a couple of hands.

Ben Wolbers doubles up though Granstad

Jim Kerrigan raised to 4500 from early position. It was folded to Wolbers who moved all in from the button for 28,000 and was isolated by by Henning Granstad in the small blind. Kerrigan folded.

{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for Wolbers. {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} for Granstad.

Wolbers (right) hit an 8 he didn't need on the river and he is now up to 60,000.

Roland De Wolfe has been moved to this table and looks like he really means business. Whether he is in or out of a hand he never stops talking.

Also Eddy Scharf just walked into the press area and asked me to write something nice about him. Eddy you busted out on level 2 yesterday. It's too late!!!

New Chip Leader

We don't know the hand yet but someone must have gotten hurt badly as Brian Hansen has almost doubled up to 160,000 and is the clear chip leader.

Also...

Gunar Rabe 115,000
Sebastian Ruttenberg 100,000
Witved 70,000+ (got an early double up)
