How They Stand

As craziness erupts just a few yards away where Michael Martin is winning the Main Event, his mother and girlfriend swooning with joy at the rail, we are down to just 29 players in the High Rollers event.

Doing Well

Dan Heimiller: 141,000 chip leader
Daniel Negreanu: 130,000 perennial enormo-stack
Alexander Roumeliotis: 121,000

Doing Less Well

Jason Mercier: 16,500
Isabelle Mercier (no relation): 17,000
Dennis Phillips: the onetime chip leader down to 20,000
Barry Greenstein: 23,000
Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott: 25,000

Average stack is 59,300.

Devilfish Eliminated

Busted
Busted
Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott open-shoved from the button and big blind Barry Greenstein called. "I've got a three with mine," said the Devilfish and flipped {A-Diamonds} {3-Hearts}. Greenstein flipped... {A-Spades} {3-Diamonds}. The board rolled out entirely flush-free, and they chopped it.

The next hand he shoved again, and this time Steven Silverman called from the big blind. No luck of the Devil this time though.

Devilfish: {Q-Diamonds} {J-Spades}
Silverman: {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts}

Board: {A-Clubs} {6-Spades} {8-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {A-Spades}

Benyamine Leads the Field

There's more action here than Snoopy gets in his very wildest dreams, as the chip leader changes almost every few minutes.

Dan Heimiller, on over 140,000 just a little while ago, is down to just 50,000. Some of his chips are now in the possession of David Benyamine. With a fair bit in the pot before they even got to the {4-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} flop, Heimiller bet 11,000 on it and Benyamine called. Heimiller checked the {9-Spades} turn and Benyamine bet 27,000. Heimiller folded, and Benyamine is currently our chip leader on 170,300.
