De Wolfe and Moneymaker Mixing It Up

PokerStars-sponsored player Chris Moneymaker has just been moved directly to the right of Roland de Wolfe and it does not take the two very long to tangle. With 21,000 already in the pot, de Wolfe bets 13,000 on a board of {J-Spades}

Moneymaker dwells for some time and then calls. De Wolfe shows
{J-Spades}

and Moneymaker folds saying, "I had a pair". De Wolfe is now over 65,000 and above the average for the first time in a very, very long while.

Levi's Big Move Doesn't Pay Off

Nicolas Levi limped in from early position and Katja Svendsen raised to 11,000. It was folded back to Levi who made a large raise and Svendson moved in for approximately 70K which Levi was pot-committed to call.

flop gave the Danish lady a bit of a scare but the {Q-Clubs}

came on turn and river and she moves her stack up to the dizzy heights of 150,000.

Stig Blows His Top (and His Stack)

Anthony Lellouche raises from early position, Stig Rasmussen reraises from middle position to 13,500. Lellouche goes into the tank for two minutes then moves all in. Rasmussen announces, "This is bad, but I call," before pushing his remaining 40,000 into the middle.

No help for Rasmussen and Lellouche has him well covered. Rasmussen is not happy about Lellouche's play. He walks away, shaking his head as he says, "You take a very big chance -- that was very stupid move."
